FAQ

Yes, since Ania is a full-service bridal salon, we do require appointments. Until further notice we are unable to accommodate walk in appointments.

If you’re looking for a day-of appointment, give us a call — we might have an opening just for you!

We want you to take your time and enjoy the Ania experience, so we allow 90 minutes for bridal appointments.

We can’t wait to hear all about your wedding details!

We are happy to welcome our brides with up to 4 guests for our standard appointments, and up to 6 guests in our VIB Suites. As far as age restrictions all guests must be 12 years or older for safety purposes. We do make exceptions for infants up to 2 years old, as they would reside in their caretaker's lap. We are happy to accommodate nursing moms within our shop as well. We want this day to be about the bride and ensure she has a memorable Say Yes moment!

Our gowns start around $1,500 and run upwards of $7,000. We recommend you check out our designers page.

Just click on a designer to learn more about their style, general price point, and which gowns we carry from their collection.

We have off-the-rack sample options for brides looking to spend $1500 or less!

On average, gowns take 4-6 months to arrive.

You then want to allow 6-8 weeks for alterations. We generally recommend you order about 9 months to a year prior to your wedding date, but it's never too soon to say yes! If you find the gown at 14 months out, we say go for it. Designers can (and do) discontinue gowns, without warning. Price increases are common every season due to fabric availability and so many other factors.

Deep breaths! You do have options. Our first recommendation is to purchase a designer sample off-the-rack. This means:

1) Discounts for days

2) No waiting for production to bust a move, and

3) Instant relief!

If this doesn't sound like something you're down for, that's okay. Several of our designers keep stock on hand, or at the very least offer rush orders. Keep in mind most rush orders do include a fee (which varies by designer). We can discuss these options in depth when you're here.

Unfortunately, Ania does not buy back wedding gowns, nor do we rent our samples. We recommend that you either consign your gown online or donate your gown to Adorned in Grace and Brides for a Cause.

To start, we want to emphasize that bridal sizing is a bit... well... different. Each designer has their own size chart, and typically these size charts run about 2 sizes smaller than standard ready-to-wear sizing. This means if you're a 6 or 8 street size, you are probably a 10 or 12 in bridal. (Hey sister, we didn't make the game, we just play by the rules.) The good news is size is just a number! After you complete alterations, your gown will fit you and only you.

However, to answer the question, our samples are typically 10's and 12's. We have a wonderful selection of plus size wedding dresses from size 16 to 30.

As long as the gown is from a designer that we carry, the answer is yes! We may even be able to borrow-in the gown for you to try on before placing the order. There is a $100 fee per gown. However, if you purchase your wedding gown with us, this fee is credited towards your balance.

We offer a wedding dress cleaning and preservation service to Ania Brides and non-Ania Brides!

With this service, you can get your dress and other accessories cleaned and packaged for the future.

If you are interested in getting your wedding dress preserved, call us to discuss the options and costs of any additional accessories.
